Academic Advising and Referral
- Degree requirements/planning
- Advice on course + program selection and enrolment
- Advice and tips for managing course workloads
- Academic rules and regulations
- Academic skills
- Learning strategies
- Admissions to the College
- Degree checking for students preparing to graduate
- Enrolment in “extra” courses
- Course overload requests
- Re-instatement in courses
- Advising students on probation or suspension
- Advising students charged with academic offences
- Letter of Permission and transfer credit counselling
- Liaising with professors (letters on your behalf if you are sick, having personal problems, etc.)
- Registration verification letters
- Late withdrawal (LWD) requests
- Petitions to the Faculty of Arts & Science (e.g., missed exams, late term work, etc.)
Financial Advising
- Advice on student budgeting
- Information on available scholarships, loans and bursaries
- Schedule 2 (a.k.a., continuation of interest-free status) forms for OSAP
- processing RESP forms

Troubleshooting
- File re-activation after an absence
- Trouble shooting/unusual situations
