Important Dates

You should apply for your program during the session in which you are planning to complete your fourth credit. Most students will complete their 4.0 credits in April at the end of their first year.

If you expect to complete your 4.0 credits by the end of the Summer session (e.g. August), it is very important that you enrol in your program by July. If you do not enrol in a program, ACORN will block you from enrolling in any courses for the following Fall/Winter session.

The deadline to apply in a program depends on the Program Type.

Program Enrolment Timelines for Collaborative Life Science Programs

You can apply to most Collaborative Life Science programs during the first request period only, even if you are planning to complete the required courses in the Summer session. A few Collaborative Life Science programs will accept applications in both the first and second request periods. Check the list of programs to find out when each program is accepting applications.

First Request Period

In the first request period, there are three decision iterations during which you may receive a decision on your application. If you receive an invitation during one of the iterations, you must accept or decline the invitation during that iteration. If you do not accept the invitation during that iteration, your invitation will expire.
