Deleting Programs
If you would like to delete a program, you can use the “DELETE” feature on ACORN. You can delete programs during the following time periods:

| Limited | March 1 – July 5, 2024 and July 6 – September 16, 2024 |
| Focus | March 1, 2024 – September 16, 2024 |
To make deletions outside these dates, contact your College Registrar’s Office. For programs that only have a round 1 acceptance period (first request period), students will not be able to change or delete programs after that round has ended. Please keep in mind that you must enrol in the minimum appropriate combination of programs for your degree or you will be prevented from enrolling in courses on ACORN.
Changing Programs
If you would like to change to an open program, you can use the “Change” feature on ACORN. You can also simply delete an active program, and use the “Add a New Program” feature to enrol in a new one.
There are some program groupings which allow you to change among the members with no re-application or departmental approval required. For example, if you are enrolled in the specialist in Human Geography, you can switch to the specialist in Environmental Geography, or vice-versa.

If you are already enrolled in a program that appears in one of the groups below, you may switch to another program within the same group using the “change” feature on ACORN.

For limited programs listed in the change groups above, you can switch amongst members of the same groups in ACORN. The change option will be available during March 1, 2024 – April 27, 2024 and July 6, 2024 – August 21, 2024.
If your active program and the one you would like to change into are not in one of the groups listed above, you must request the new one on ACORN or contact the appropriate department/sponsor for approval to change.
