Arrive Ready to Study: Rotman Commerce

Get an inside view of what to expect in your upcoming Rotman Commerce classes. Modules will include university-level lectures, practice quizzes and academic prep material to prepare you for your first-year Rotman courses. You will also learn tools to develop your study skills and receive helpful tips from upper-year students.

Arrive Ready to Study Rotman Commerce was developed in collaboration with Economics Faculty, Professor Kripa Freitas, Instructor of ECO101: Principles of Microeconomics, and your Rotman Commerce Peer Mentors.

Learning modules will be available starting July 20 on your Arrive Ready Quercus page — no registration required.

Learning modules include:

  • Understanding University Expectations for Success
  • Note-Taking in University Lectures
  • Effective Reading Strategies
  • Critical Writing
  • Effective Collaboration and Group work
  • Studying & Test Preparation for Commerce

Each module will take approximately two hours to complete and can be accessed independently — whenever it fits your schedule. There are no marks or deadlines to worry about.

Complete at least three learning modules to be eligible to receive an Arrive Ready Certificate of Completion!
