Where do I find textbooks?

After you have enrolled in your courses and paid your fees, finding textbooks will be a top priority. You can rent textbooks, buy or borrow them.

The best place to find out which textbooks you need for each course is your course syllabus. If you want to get your books before your first class, the U of T Bookstore website has a textbook list for most courses.

Once you know what textbooks you need, you can start your search:

U of T Bookstore

  • Purchase new or used textbooks
  • Rent textbooks

Discount Textbooks Store

  • Purchase new or used textbooks

 Other Bookstores

  • Caversham Booksellers– Psychology, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Mental Health
  • Chapters/Indigo
  • Amazon

Purchase used textbooks from other students

Find used books through:

  • TORBOK

Search U of T library system is a good place to start your search for ebooks and PDF versions of books.
