What is the Centre for Learning Strategy Support?

There is no ‘right’ way to get through university, and the Centre for Learning Strategy Support helps you find a greater balance between life and learning.

Centre for Learning Strategy Support is one of three departments that comprise the Student Success Centre.

The Centre for Learning Strategy Support provides U of T students with a variety of resources, services and people that can help you reach your full potential. They offer:


Learning Strategist Support

Someone to help you manage your time; develop studying, writing and note-taking skills; improve your research, writing and presentation skills.


Programs for First-Year Students

First in the Family mentoring program and University prep workshop series, to name a few.


Learning Strategy T
ools and Resources

Knowing how you best learn, set goals and stay motivated, and a host of other topics can help you perform at your best in school.


Academic Workshops

Topics range from time management, to effective study habits, to an introduction to U of T resources such as Writing Centres, Libraries and Student Aid Centres.


Mentorship and Peer Support Programs

First in the Family Peer Mentoring Program, Graduate Writing Groups and Centre for Learning Strategy Support Study Hubs.
