What is a Work Study Program?

The Work Study program is a super-convenient way to find a part-time job on campus. It is a great way for you to gain experience and apply what you learn in class in a professional setting while getting paid.

Eligibility:

  • You have to be registered in a 40% or higher course load during the semester
  • You cannot work more than 15 hours per week
  • Pay rate is minimum wage

Work Study positions run for the Spring/Summer semester or the Fall/Winter semester. Applications usually open a few weeks before the start of the Fall and Summer semesters. Keep an eye on the Career Learning Network during May and August for job postings.

Work Study positions appear on your Co-Curricular Record so they are a great way to gain work experience before graduating.
