Understanding Your Course Syllabus (Humanities & Social Sciences)

Your course syllabus has many important functions – class policies, statements of intent from the instructor, and a study plan for you, the learner. In this interactive workshop, we will review the importance of course policies and learning outcomes before focusing on how to analyze multiple syllabi to create a study plan to support your academic success throughout the term.
This session will have a special focus on syllabi for humanities and social science courses.
